i came up with this recipe by using what I had on hand on a cold day that I had no time to shop or cook! It was a hit and my family asks for it weekly and there's never any leftovers to pack up & put away. Its quick & easy. Beast of all it's delicious! feel free to use more/less ingredients to taste. Ingredients For cheesey ground beef & rice

  • 1 lb
    ground beef
  • 1 lg
    onion
  • 3 clove
    garlic
  • to taste
    salt , pepper & garlic powder
  • 5 dash
    tabasko
  • 5 dash
    worcestershire sauce
  • 2 c
    rice of choice (follow pkg directions to prepair)
  • SAUCE
  • 1 1/3 c
    shredded mexican cheese mixture
  • 1/2 c
    cheese wiz brick cheese
  • 1 c
    milk, if not thin enough, add more
  • 4 dash
    tabasko
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter

How To Make cheesey ground beef & rice

    make rice according to directions, set aside. dice onion & mince garlic
  • 2
    brown ground beef, onion & garlic. add salt, pepper, garlic powder, worchestershire sauce & tabasko sauce remove from pan
  • 3
    lower heat, using same skillet, add milk, butter and cheese. whisk to help melt and keep from sticking.

    add tabasko, then mix in rice to coat
  • 5
    mix in beef mixture, turn off heat & serve!
