After a trip to Philadelphia a few years ago, I was hooked. While I can't find the type of rolls/hoagie buns they use in Philly, these still taste great!

Ingredients For cheesesteak sandwiches

1 lbflat iron steak, sliced thin against the grain

1/2 lgred bell pepper, sliced

1/2 lgorange bell pepper, sliced

1 lggreen bell pepper, sliced

2 mdonions, sliced
-
4-6 ozvelveeta cheese or cheese whiz

salt, pepper, garlic salt, to taste

4hoagie buns or something similar
How To Make cheesesteak sandwiches

1Preheat large non-stick skillet to medium-high heat. Lightly spray with non-stick cooking spray.

2If using Velveeta cheese, cube the cheese and set aside.

3Season the onions and peppers with salt, pepper, and just a dash of garlic salt. Place vegetables in the skillet and let them cook down just a little, about 5-8 minutes.

4Season meat with salt, pepper, and garlic salt, to taste.

5Add the meat to the skillet with the vegetables and cook until the meat is almost no longer pink (medium rare).

6Carefully drain any liquid from the skillet and return to stove.

7Add the cheese and stir until melted.

8Add the cheesy beef mixture to the buns and enjoy! If desired, toast the buns prior to serving.
