Use your favorite croutons or make your own. We made our own by cubing several leftover rolls and tossing them in a skillet with melted butter. Add your favorite seasoning, such as garlic powder, and toast until golden brown. Also, adjust the ingredients of the "sauce" to suit your taste.

Ingredients For cheeseburger salad

  • 2 lb
    ground beef
  • 1/3 c
    ketchup
  • 1 tsp
    yellow mustard
  • 1 Tbsp
    spicy mustard
  • 2 Tbsp
    barbecue sauce
  • 2 bunch
    green leaf lettuce, torn
  • 8 oz
    shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4
    tomatoes, diced
  • 8
    pickle spears, cubed or sliced
  • 1
    red onion, sliced
  • croutons

How To Make cheeseburger salad

  • 1
    Brown ground beef and drain.
  • 2
    Add ketchup, mustards, and barbecue sauce. (Adjust taste as needed.) Heat through.

    Serve meat mixture over lettuce. Top with cheese, tomatoes, pickles, onion, and croutons.
