This is a great alternative to a cheeseburger and fries. It is also good made with ground turkey, or even chicken. I have made it using each of these and it was delicious. If using turkey or chicken; cream of mushroom soup is wonderful in this dish instead of the golden mushroom.

Ingredients For cheeseburger casserole

  • 2 lb
    lean ground beef
  • 1 Tbsp
    steak or burger seasoning
  • 1 can
    cheddar cheese soup
  • 1 can
    golden mushroom soup
  • 1 pkg
    frozen french fries
  • seasoned salt (optional)

How To Make cheeseburger casserole

    Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Spray a 9 X 13 inch baking dish with cooking spray; set aside.

    In a large skillet, brown the ground beef until no longer pink, adding the seasoning when the meat is almost done.

    Stir in both cans of soup and mix well.

    Pour beef mixture into baking dish. Top with a single layer of fries. Sprinkle top with seasoned salt. Bake 30 minutes, or until fries are golden brown and crispy.
