Ingredients For cheese filled beef patties

  • 1 1/4 pound lean minced beef
  • 1 tablespoon barbecue sauce
  • 2 tablespoons tomato sauce
  • one small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 ounces mature cheddar, grated
  • 4 ounces crushed pineapple, drained

How To Make cheese filled beef patties

    preheat barbecue to medium heat. In a large bowl, place beef, barbecue sauce, tomato sauce and onion and mix to combine.

    Shape beef mixture into eight patties, flattening slightly with Palm of your hand. Top four patties with cheese and pineapple, then cover with remaining patties, carefully molding edges of patties together to form four larger patties.
