carne asada

There are many ways to make Carne Asada, but this is the way I prefer to make mine. I learned how to make this from my Son's father who was originally from Mexico. Some people I know have marinated their meat with Beer or add Orange juice to the Marinate, but I haven't desired to make mine that way. Either way they are all good ways. Some people also like to grill green onions & jalapenos at the same time and eat w/ their Carne Asada as well. Enjoy.

How To Make carne asada
-
1You will want to Marinate your Meat with the Lime Juice (squeeze it from your lime, either with your hand or I have a lime squeezer that does it for me. IMO it is much easier, I got this at a Mexican store) you can find them anywhere made of other materials as well. Season with granulated garlic & Johnny's seasoning. Let Marinate while you heat your grill or as long as you prefer.

2Place meat on grill and cook on hot open flame or gas grill. till done.

3Also, you can make this under the broiler on a broiler pan. I have done that when I didn't feel like using the grill OR when it's during the Winter time. I personally do not prefer my Carne Asada made on a stove top. I do know some that like to make it that way as well though in Oil. Anyway you want it still will turn out yummy.
