we made these when I was a little girl in girlscouts. they are fun to make and are good. kids like making them and keeping track of their own "pouch" as it sits next to the fire.

Ingredients For campfire gypsy stew

1sliced, clean potato

1carrot, sliced

1/2small onion, sliced

2 or 3 ozground beef, broken

salt and pepper

enough foil to make a pouch,
How To Make campfire gypsy stew

1lay out a square of foil, big enough to hold ingredients

2place all the ingredients onto foil, seperating the onion to distribute evenly. salt and pepper everything.

3fold up pouch so it won't come apart while cooking.

4place at the edge of a campfire, or on the grill. and cook at least 45 minutes, according to what type and how hot the fire it. turn pouch over halfway thru cooking time.
