Tired of chili? Want something sweet and savory that will stick to your ribs? Or do you just want something that tastes good? This recipe is my husbands favorite. He ALWAYS has me double or triple it so there are leftovers for a few days. My son loves it too and asks for it on a regular basis as well. You can make this with maple bacon, or regular bacon. We also love to add little smokies that have been cut in half. Any way you make it, you won't be disappointed. This is a hearty meal. Recipe is my own. Picture is my own of a double batch, made with honey maple bacon and little smokies.

3****I almost always double or triple the recipe. If you do, increase the cooking time to 1 hour at least to make sure it heats through.**** The photo is a triple batch, made with honey maple bacon before being baked. I prepped it in a stock pot and went ahead and baked it right in it as well, for one hour.
