I serve this alot when I have to carry a dish somewhere. I also serve it with a pot of cajun beans. I have people that can't believe that it's cabbage, you just can't get stop eating add, beans, cornbread and you got some good groceries

Ingredients For cajun cabbage

1 lbground chuck

1 mdonion

6 cchopped cabbage

1 1/4 cuncooked long grain rice

1 can14 1/2oz stewed tomatoes

1 can8oz tomato, sauce

1 cwater
-
1 tspsugar
-
1 tspsalt and pepper

1 tspcajun seasoning
How To Make cajun cabbage

1In large Dutch oven, brown ground beef;add onion. Cook onions until transparent ;add the rice, tomatoes, tomato sauce, water seasonings and cabbage. Cover and bake at 375 for 50-60 or until cabbage is tender. Freezes great Note:if it looks dry you can and water or another can of tomato sauce just depends on your taste!
