1 lbground venison, ground beef or shredded meat

1 1/2 cfinely shredded cabbage

1 mdonion, chopped

1 stickcelery, chopped

1/4 cgreen pepper, chopped

1 ccatsup

3 Tbspbrown sugar

2 Tbsplemon juice

1 Tbspwhite vinegar

1 Tbspworcestershire sauce

1 Tbspmustard

1 tspsalt

How To Make cabbage 'n venison sloppy joes

1In a large skillet, cook the ground meat, cabbage, onion, celery and green pepper over medium heat until meat is no longer pink and vegetables are crisp-tender; drain. NOTE: If using shredded meat, pre-cook and add to skillet after vegetables have cooked.

2Stir in the catsup, brown sugar, lemon juice, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, salt and pepper. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes or until cabbage is tender. Spoon ½ cup onto each roll.
