Ingredients For busy day casserole

  • 1.5 lb
    ground beef
  • 8 oz
    egg noodles
  • "just a pinch" of pepper
  • "just a pinch" of salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 1 can
    tomato soup
  • 12 oz
    corn kernels, fresh or frozen
  • 1/2 c
    onion, finely chopped
  • 4 oz
    mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 Tbsp
    oil
  • 1 c
    cheddar cheese, grated

How To Make busy day casserole

    In large skillet combine oil and onion.

    Saute until tender.
  • 3
    Add ground beef.
  • 4
    Stir to brown.

    Drain off fat.
  • 6
    Add mushrooms, corn and soup.

    Mix well.

    Season to taste.

    Cook noodles in salted water;

    Drain.

    Mix noodles, meat and 1/2 cup cheese.

    Spoon into a 2 quart casserole.

    Sprinkle remaining cheese on top.

    Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
