Personally, I do not care for hotdogs so when my family wanted a hotdog night,I created this burger dog for my own personal "dog" night. Now instead of hotdogs..this is what is on the menu.

Ingredients For burger dogs

  • 1 1/2 lb
    hamburger
  • 1/2 c
    onions, finely chopped
  • 2 tsp
    prepared mustard
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    pepper
  • 1 pkg
    hotdog buns (12 ct.)
  • 1 pkg
    bacon

How To Make burger dogs

  • 1
    Mix Meat and spices in a bowl. Mix well. Roll meat into the shape of a hotdog and wrap each "dog" in a slice of bacon, spiral fashion.

    Broil or Grill until cooked to your liking.

    Serve in a hotdog bun with your favorite toppings. I top mine as a hotdog with the works.
