Ingredients For bunyan's diabetic sweet & sour short ribs

6 lbbeef short ribs

1/2 tspsea salt

1/2 tspfreshly cracked black pepper

3/8 tspgranulated garlic

3 1/2 Tbspsplenda brown sugar blend
-
2 1/2 Tbspcorn starch
-
1 tspground ginger
-
1 3/4 cwater
-
1/3 csoy sauce, low sodium
-
1/2 crice wine vinegar
-
2 ccrushed pineapple
How To Make bunyan's diabetic sweet & sour short ribs

1Preheat oven to 400
-
2Spray a baking dish with Pam, place ribs in pann, sprinkle with seasonings
-
3Bake at 400 for 30 minutes, pour off excess fat. Reduce heat to 350 bake 20 minutes longer, pour off excess fat.

4In a saucepan dissolve splenda cornstarch and ginger in water

5Add soy sauce and vinegar. Cook until sauce thickens, stirring frequently

6Stir in pineapple and bring to a boil. After sauce come to a boil remove from heat

7Pour sauce over ribs

8Bake at 350 for 90 minutes basting occasionally

9Skim off excess fat before serving
