2 lbboneless chuck roast, cut into 1 inch cubes

1/2 cwhole wheat flour

1, 24 ozcan tomatoes, crushed

1 cfrozen peas

1 cfrozen green beans

3 lgcarrots, sliced

1 lgonion, large dice
-
3 ribscelery, chopped
-
1 tsplow sodium beef base disolved in 1 cup of hot water

1 Tbspworcestershire sauce

1 1/2 tspsea salt
-
3/4 tspfreshly cracked black pepper

1 smbay leaf
-
8 smred potatoes, unpeeled & quartered

1 cfresh button mushrooms, sliced
How To Make bunyan's diabetic beef stew

1Heat the olive oil in a large dutch oven
-
2Dredge the cubed beef in the 1/2 cup of w/w flour
-
3Brown the beef in the hot oil
-
4Add all of the other ingredients, and enough hot water to just cover everything.

5Bring to a boil, lower heat, simmer slowly until the beef is tender. About 2 hrs
