Ingredients For bob's pepper steak with cognac cream.

  • cracked pepper.( black,red,and green.)
  • 2 tsp
    butter, room temperature.unsalted
  • 2 1/2 lb
    filet mignon
  • 5 Tbsp
    cognac
  • 1/2 c
    heavy cream

How To Make bob's pepper steak with cognac cream.

    Press cracked pepper ( as much as you want) into both sides of the steak. Let sit for at least 1 hour. In a cast iron skillet melt butter. Pan fry the steak till almost desired doneness..

    Pour cognac over steak. Add heavy cream and stir. Heat untill warmed through... Place steaks on a plater. Cover with sauce. Serve warm with fryed taters.And a salad...
