Ingredients For blackeyed pea casserole

  • 1 1/2 lb
    ground chuck
  • 1
    small onion, chopped
  • 1
    small bell pepperm, chopped
  • 10 oz
    can blackeyed peas
  • 1 can
    rotel tomatoes
  • 1 c
    grated cheddar cheese
  • 1 pkg
    jiffy cornbread mix, blended as package directs

How To Make blackeyed pea casserole

  • 1
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Saute ground chuck with onion and green pepper. Drain grease and place in cassserole dish.

    Add peas and tomatoes. Mix well. Top with grated cheese. Pour prepared cornbread mix over top of all.

    Bake in 350 degree oven for 35 minutes.
