This recipe is a family favorite and it is dear to me because my neighbors grandson will not eat home cooking he only wants junk food but when i make tacos he eats 3. And his grandmother be so proud of him.

Ingredients For black bean tacos

  • 1 1/2 lb
    ground beef
  • 1 can
    black beans drained
  • 8 oz
    sour cream
  • 2 c
    shredded lettuce
  • 1 1/4 c
    mexican blend shredded cheese
  • 1 c
    mild salsa
  • 1 pkg
    taco seasoning
  • 1 pinch
    salt and pepper
  • 1 pkg
    taco shells

How To Make black bean tacos

  • 1
    place ground beef in skillet add salt and pepper cook until no longer pink.(drain)Return to skillet, add black beans,taco seasoning, and 1 cup water simmer 10 minutes. Heat taco shells in oven for about 5-6 minutes. Stuff shells with lettuce, meat, salsa,sour cream and cheese. Serve warm
