Ingredients For big patty melt muffaletta

  • PATTY
  • 3/4 lb
    ground chuck
  • 1/2
    chopped onion
  • 2 Tbsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • s&p
  • TOPPING
  • 1-2 c
    mushrooms
  • butter
  • 4
    slices american chees
  • mozzarella cheese
  • BUN
  • 2
    pocketless pitas or lg flatbreads

How To Make big patty melt muffaletta

    Start by mixing your beef ingredients in a bowl. Make large ball, and put between wax paper to pound down into patty a little larger than flat bread

    Get two pans heated to medieum high. Place burger in one, and butter and mushrooms in other. Cook burger 3-4 min per side, Mushrooms for about 5 min.

    Top burger with american cheese, then mushrooms, then fresh mozzerella. Place in flatbreads, cover with tinfoil. Place center rack on 350 oven for ten min. Let rest for five minutes. Cut in four and enjoy.
