This meatloaf and fried potatoes with onions make up my husband's birthday dinner each year. It's one of his all time favorite meals.

Ingredients For best meatloaf

1 1/2 lbground beef
-
3/4 cquick cooking oats
-
1 1/2 tspsalt

1/4 tspblack pepper

1/4 conion, chopped

1 lgegg, beaten

3/4 cmilk
-
1 Tbspworcestershire sauce

2 Tbspketchup
-
2 Tbspmargarine
- TOPPING:
-
1/3 cketchup
-
1 Tbspyellow mustard

2 Tbspbrown sugar
How To Make best meatloaf

1Mix all ingredients together and place in a loaf pan. You can cook this in the loaf pan or unmold it onto a larger baking pan.

2Mix all topping ingredients and put on meat loaf.

3Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Remove from oven and let the meatloaf rest for 5 to 10 minutes before slicing.
