Ingredients For best ever meat loaf

  • PREHEAT OVEN TO 350 DEGREES.
  • 2 lb
    ground beef
  • 3/4 c
    oatmeal
  • 2
    stalks celery, chopped
  • 1 tsp
    pepper
  • 1/2 tsp
    marjoram
  • 2
    eggs, slightly beaten
  • onion, chopped
  • 1 or 2
    grated carrots
  • 2 Tbsp
    parsley, minced
  • 1/2 tsp
    thyme
  • SAUCE:
  • 1/2 c
    ketchup
  • 2 Tbsp
    brown mustard
  • 1/3 c
    brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 tsp
    nutmeg

How To Make best ever meat loaf

  • 1
    Prepare sauce in a bowl and set aside. Combine meat loaf ingredients with hands until evenly mixed. Work in half of hte sauce with the meat loaf. Place the meat loaf in a loaf pan and shape it. Pour the remaining sauce on top and bake for 1 hour or until center is no longer pink.
