It really is the best I've ever eaten! I found this in a Tennessee Farm Bureau cookbook and have made it many times. Took it to many church suppers and usually brought none home!

Ingredients For best ever meat loaf

1 1/2 lblean ground beef

1 mdonion, chopped

1egg, beaten
-
1 tspsalt

1/2green pepper, diced

1/2 cbread crumbs (canned)

1 1/2 ctomato juice or v8 juice
-
1/2 cketchup
-
3 Tbspbrown sugar
-
2 tspprepared mustard
-
1/4 tspchili powder
How To Make best ever meat loaf

1Combine first 7 ingredients and mix well. Pack into lightly greased or sprayed loaf pan.

2Mix the next 4 ingredients (sauce) and spread over meat loaf before baking.

3Bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours.
