It's taken me almost a decade to tweak my chili recipe and make it so ALL 9 of my kids would eat it...well here it is. We love Wendy's chili...this is IT but with a bit more flavor. Adding sour cream or cheese to this only makes it better!! Hope you enjoy this as much as our family and friends do.

Ingredients For best-ever chili

2-2.25 lbground beef

1 29-oz cantomato sauce
-
1 canfire roasted tex mex style tomatoes, undrained

1 canrotel diced tomatoes with green chilies, undrained

1 lgcan of kidney beany (dark or light, your preferance), undrained
-
1-2 canchili beans (regular or spicy, undrained)

1 canfire roasted green chilies, undrained

1 lgyellow onion, chopped

3 stickcelery, chopped
-
4roma tomatoes, chopped
-
1-2 tspcumin
-
2-3 Tbspchili powder
-
2-3 cwater
-
salt
-
black pepper
How To Make best-ever chili

1Brown ground beef in Dutch oven...Drain well. Add all remaining ingredients and bring to a simmering boil over medium heat. Lower heat and simmer, uncovered 2- 2 1/2 hours.
