Ingredients For beef with mustard greens

1 lbground beef

1 mdonion, chopped

1 clovegarlic, minced

10 ozpackage frozen mustard greens or turnip greens, thawed

1 tspsalt

1/4 tspblack pepper

1/4 clemon juice

1 tspsugar

1/4 tsppaprika

2hard-cooked eggs, sliced
How To Make beef with mustard greens

1In a deep 10-inch skillet cook the bacon until it is crisp. Remove from the skillet and drain on paper towels. Reserve the drippings.

2To the drippings, add the beef, onion, and garlic. Cook till the meat is brown and the onion is tender but not brown. Drain off the fat.

3Stir in the thawed greens, salt, and pepper. Cover and simmer the mixture for 10 minutes.

4For the sauce, stir together the bacon pieces, lemon juice, sugar, and paprika.

5To serve, transfer the meat mixture to a heated serving platter. Garnish with the egg slices. Garnish with the sauce.
