Ingredients For beef stroganoff, mom's

1 lbbeef tenderloin, sliced 1/4" thick

1/4 cflour

1 1/2 tspsalt

1/4 tsppepper

1/2 cbutter
-
1/2 conion, chopped

1 clovegarlic, minced

1/2 lbmushroom halves, sliced

dashsalt

2 Tbspflour

1 cbeef bouillon
-
1 tspsalt

2 Tbspsherry

2 tspworcestershire

1 csour cream
How To Make beef stroganoff, mom's

1Roll beef in 1/4 c flour and sprinkle with 1/4 t pepper and 1 1/2 t salt. Saute in 1/4 c butter. Saute onion, garlic, mushrooms and dash of salt in remaining butter. Drain drippings from both and add 2 T flour, bouillon, remaining salt, sherry and Worcestershire. Simmer several minutes then add sour cream and stir constantly to simmer. DO NOT allow to boil. Serve beef over noodles or rice, with sauce.
