This is a delicious Stroganoff but a little costly, I do make it sometimes when my son and daughter in law and grand children come by to eat! They love this dish. And my husband and I do too.I hope your family enjoy's it to.

Ingredients For beef stroganoff

1 1/2 lb.beef tenderlion 1/4 inch slices
-
flour for dredging

salt and pepper to taste

butter or margarine

1 large onion diced
-
3 or 4 garlic cloves chopped

1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms sliced
-
1c. beef broth
-
1 tbsp. tomato paste
-
1/2 c.dry white wine or dry vermouth

1tbsp.paprika
-
1/2 pt sour cream or plain yogurt

add 2 tab flour to sour cream mix

How To Make beef stroganoff

1Lightly Dredge meat in flour to which salt and pepper have been added.

2Melt butter and Quickly saute Meat, Transfer meat to a Bowl.

3add more Butter to the pan and saute the garlic and onions.When golden add mushrooms and saute lightly. Add Broth, Tomato Paste, Wine,and Paprika.Stir:

4Return Meat to pan, Cover and simmer until desired doneness. I cook for about 1 hr, I like the meat done and tender. Add sour Cream when done cooking to your liking. Stir well. While cooking the meat and sauce you can make the Noodles or wild rice. serves 6 Delicious with cheese sprinkled on top
