Ingredients For beef stroganoff

3 1/2 lbbeef top round steak, boneless (eyeround ok), cubed or slices , as in stir fry slices

1 1/2 conions, chopped

1 1/2 lbmushrooms, fresh

1 1/2 tspsalt

2 tspworcestershire sauce

6 Tbspflour
-
1 cbutter
-
6 tsptomato paste

3 cboullion
-
3/4 csour cream
-
1 1/2 cheavy cream

2 Tbspdry white wine
How To Make beef stroganoff

1Add wine to heavy cream. Set aside

2Melt 1/3 cup butter and saute onions until golden
-
3Remove onions from heat
-
4Melt 1/3 cup butter and saute mushrooms,they should be brown and tender.

5Roll beef in flour
-
6Melt last third of the butter and saute beef.

7Add bouillon, salt, onions.

8Cover and simmer 1 1/2 hours gently til beef is tender.

9Add tomatoe paste, worcestershire sauce, creams and mushrooms.

10Simmer gently or just reheat without boiling.
