This beef stroganoff is going to become a favorite dinner with your family. Preparing the recipe in the Instant Pot makes the beef extremely tender. The gravy is very thick and flavorful. This reminds us of steak and gravy but with noodles instead of rice. It's not a traditional beef stroganoff recipe but it's mighty tasty.

Ingredients For beef stroganoff
- FOR THE STROGANOFF

2 Tbspolive oil
-
2 lbstew beef
-
3 canbeef consomme, 10.5 oz each

2 Tbsponion powder
-
2 Tbspminced garlic
-
1 tspsalt
-
1/2 tspblack pepper
-
1/4 cfresh parsley
- FOR THE ROUX
-
1/2 stickbutter, cold
-
3/4 call-purpose flour
- FOR SERVING EITHER

16 ozegg noodles, cooked and hot
- OR
-
6 crice, cooked and hot
How To Make beef stroganoff

1Heat oil in large skillet.

2Season meat with onion powder, salt, and pepper.

3Sear in oil on high for a minute or so on each side.

4Pour meat into pressure cooker.

5Deglaze pan with consomme.

6Stir in parsley.
-
7Pour it, and the other two cans of consomme, over beef.

8Turn pressure cooker to high for 45-50 minutes.

9Combine butter and flour in pan.

10Cook on medium until it looks like wet sand.

11Whisk roux into hot liquid in pressure cooker, stirring continuously.

12Turn to saute mode on the pressure cooker and simmer for a few minutes.

13Serve over hot noodles or hot rice.
