1 lgcarrot small dice

5 cbeef broth

6 sprigthyme tied together

1bay leaf

1 Tbspworcestershire sauce

3 cbisquick

1 cmilk

2 tspsugar

salt and pepper to taste

1/4 cchopped parsley
How To Make beef stew with dumplings

1Brown the ground beef with the carrot, onion and garlic until beef is browned. Add the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, thyme bundle, and bay leaf. Bring to a boil and reduce to a simmer.

2Cook 5 minutes. Taste and season with salt and pepper. Mix the bisquick, milk, and sugar. The dough should be sticky.

3Remove the thyme bundle and bay leaf. Drop the dumpling dough by spoonfuls onto the stew. Cover and simmer 10 minutes until dumplings are done. The dumplings will thicken the sauce.

4Garnish with parsley
