This recipe is my daughter's mother in law's and I just needed to share, as I have been cooking for over 30 years and never thought to make Beef Stew with Spaghetti sauce...IT WORKS beautifully.

Ingredients For beef stew a la blanco

  • 2 lb
    beef stew meat
  • 1/2
    onion,diced
  • 1/2
    green pepper, diced
  • 3
    garlic cloves, smashed
  • 2
    bay leaves
  • 2
    beef bouillon, cubes
  • 1 c
    wine,white or red
  • 1 lg
    jar,spaghetti sauce, meat flavored
  • 1 bunch
    small potatoes
  • 1 bunch
    carrots, baby
  • 2 Tbsp
    olive oil

How To Make beef stew a la blanco

    In a large Pot, saute onions, peppers and garlic in olive oil.

    add in the spaghetti sauce, wine, bay leaves.

    add in the meat cubes...cover and cook on low-med 1 hour, add in potatoes and carrots...simmer another hour.

    NO knife needed...enjoy
