I never like my mom's beef stew as a child. Then, after I got married, I started selling Pampered Chef products and got this recipe from their Stoneware Sensations cookbook and loved it!

Ingredients For beef stew

  • 1 1/2 lb
    stew meat
  • 2 lg
    unpeeled potatoes
  • 3/4 tsp
    thyme leaves
  • 1 can
    diced tomatoes
  • 2 c
    sliced carrots
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 3 clove
    garlic
  • 1 can
    beef broth
  • 1 md
    onion cut into wedges
  • 1/2 c
    frozen peas, thawed

How To Make beef stew

  • 1
    Put potatoes in the bottom of a 5 quart crockpot.
  • 2
    Add stew meat then remaining ingredients.
  • 3
    Cook on low 8 hours.
