A great recipe that tastes like it's been bubbling away on the stove top for hours. Can also be made with the beer of your choice.

Ingredients For beef stew

600 gcubed stewing steak

375 mlbelgian beer

1red onion
-
2 clovegarlic
-
2carrots
-
generous tablespoon dijon mustard

1bay leaf

1 tspdried thyme

salt

pepper
How To Make beef stew

1Marinate the cubed steak overnight in the Belgian beer

2The following day, drain the meat and reserve the beer. Brown the meat in the pressure cooker.

3Meanwhile, chop the onion, garlic and carrots and then add them to the browned meat. Stir well. Add the Dijon, bay leaf, thyme, salt and pepper. Add the reserved beer.

4Lid on and bring up to high pressure and cook for 20 minutes. Release the pressure naturally.

5When pressure has been released, remove the lid and allow to simmer whilst cooking the potatoes or rice.
