Ingredients For beef shank pho

  • 2
    beef shanks with bone
  • 5 c
    water
  • 1 Tbsp
    better than bouillon beef bouillon
  • 1/4 c
    rice wine or saki
  • 6 clove
    garlic minced
  • 2 Tbsp
    soy sauce
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp
    fish sauce
  • 1 Tbsp
    ginger grated
  • handful of cilantro roots
  • 7 oz
    rice noodles
  • cilantro leaves for garnish

How To Make beef shank pho

  • 1
    place the beef shanks into a slow cooker. Add the water, bouillon, garlic, rice wine, ginger, soy sauce, fish sauce and coriander roots. Cook on low about 10 to 12 hours.

    Remove the meat and shred into pieces. Strain the liquid and discard the solids. Cook the noodles according to package directions. Drain.

    Place noodles in a bowl. Top with meat broth and cilantro
