Ingredients For beef patties italian-style

8 ozspaghetti, cooked

1/2 lbfresh mushrooms, sliced

1 lgonion, sliced
-
1 lbground beef
-
1/4 lbprovolone cheese, sliced

1 tsporegano
-
1 Tbsporegano, fresh chopped
-
1green bell pepper, sliced
-
1clove garlic, minced
-
salt to taste

16 ozspaghetti sauce
How To Make beef patties italian-style

1Shape ground beef into 4 oval patties about 1/2-inch thick.

2In large skillet, fry patties until browned on both sides.

3Sprinkle with salt.

4Remove patties to platter.

5Add onion to drippings in pan and cook until tender.

6Add garlic, mushrooms and peppers.

7Cook until tender crisp.

8Drain off fat.

9Stir the oregano and spaghetti sauce into vegetables and heat to boiling.

10Simmer for 1 minute.

11Return beef patties to skillet.

12Top each with a cheese slice and heat through.

13Drain spaghetti place on plate.

14With pancake turner, transfer patties and sauce over spaghetti.

15Garnish with fresh oregano, if desired.
