I have had this recipe for years, but don't make it as often as I should. My family agrees that it is a keeper.

How To Make beef parmesan with garlic angel hair pasta

  • 1
Preheat oven to 350F degrees. Spray baking pan with cooking spray.
  • 2
Cut cube steak into serving size pieces. Coat meat with bread crumbs and parmesan cheese which have been mixed together.
  • 3
Heat olive oil in large frying pan and saute 1 tsp. of the garlic for 3 minutes. Quick fry (brown quickly on both sides) meat. Place meat in a casserole baking dish, slightly overlapping edges. Place onion and pepper rings on top of meat and pour marinara sauce over all.
  • 4
Bake for 30-45 minutes, depending on thickness of the meat. Sprinkle mozzarella over meat and leave in the oven until bubbly.
  • 5
Cook pasta al dente. Drain and toss with butter and 1 tsp. garlic. For a stronger garlic taste, season with garlic powder. Top with grated parmesan and parsley for color.
  • 6
Serve meat and sauce atop a mound of pasta.
  • 7
NOTE: You can make the meat ahead of time and refrigerate overnight; the acid in the tomato sauce will tenderize the meat even more. If you do this, save the mozzarella until the last minute.
