add or take what you have in your kitchen, my thing is to take simple ingredients and make something special out of them.. im a Mom so simple one pot wonders that i can set and forget is wonderful. i served mine with peppered bisquits and a fried egg on top

  • 2 lb
    ground beef
  • 2 lb
    potatoes
  • 4 divided oz
    olive oil, extra virgin
  • 4
    garlic cloves
  • 1
    red bell pepper
  • 4 oz
    beer
  • 6 oz
    beef stock
  • 1/2 tsp
    onion powder
  • 1 tsp
    kosher salt
  • 2 tsp
    pepper
  • jalapeno juice to taste
  • dash
    red pepper flakes
  • dash
    worcestershire sauce to taste

    Make slurry out of beer, stock, onion powder, salt and pepper jalapeno juice, worcestershire sause, red pepper flakes,,,set aside

    Brown Beef set aside
  • 3
    same pan sautee peppers garlic till just translusent,add grd beef back in delglaze pan and reduse slurry by 1/2,,set aside
  • 4
    and 2 oz left of evoo and fry potatoes until brown and cooked, salt and pepper potatoes as you go, (they take alot of flavoring)

    add ground beef and peppers back in press down, let cook to set together and serve hot Serve with a fried egg for garnish and a warm peppered bisquit.
