A little different take on the traditional beef & bean casserole. I think this is an old Pillsbury recipe.

Ingredients For beef 'n' bean biscuit casserole

1 lbground beef
-
1 cchopped celery
-
1/4 cchopped green pepper
-
16 ozcan of pork & beans (or your choice of beans)

1/2 cbarbecue sauce (your choice of flavor)

1/2 cgrape jelly
-
1 tspsalt
-
1 Tbspbutter or margarine
-
1/2 cchopped onion or 2 tbsp. instant minced onion
-
1 Tbspchopped pimento
-
1 can(8oz.)refrigerated buttermilk or country style biscuits
How To Make beef 'n' bean biscuit casserole

1Preheat oven to 350^. In large fry pan, brown ground beef, celery & green pepper; drain fat. Stir in beans, bbq sauce, grape jelly & salt. Simmer while preparing biscuits.

2Cook onion in butter, stir in pimiento. Separate biscuit dough into 10 biscuits. Press biscuits together to form a 7x9 rectanle; spread onion-pimiento mixture over dough. Starting at longer side, roll up rectangle, pressing edges to seal. Cut roll into nine 1" slices.

3Spoon hot meat mixture into ungreased 8 or 9 inch square baking dish. Top with biscuit pinwheel. Bake 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
