Ingredients For beef jambalaya

1 lbstew beef, cubed

1 crice
-
1 Tbspworcestershire sauce

2beef bouillon cubes
-
1/2 csherry
-
2 cwater
-
1/2 lbmushrooms, sliced

1 ccelery, sliced
-
1 cgreen onion, finely chopped
-
1green bell pepper chopped
-
3 Tbspvegetable oil
-
1 tspthyme
-
salt and pepper to taste
How To Make beef jambalaya

1Cut beef into 1/2-inch cubes.

2Toss with thyme.

3Season with salt and pepper.

4Heat 2 tablespoons oil in skillet.

5Stir in green pepper, green onion, celery and mushrooms.

6Cook until tender; remove from pan.

7Add remaining tablespoon oil to pan.

8Stir in beef.
-
9Cook until browned.

10Stir in water, sherry, beef bouillon cubes and worcestershire sauce.

11Simmer, covered, 30 minutes.

12Stir in rice, cook 25 minutes longer, or until rice is tender.

13Stir in precooked vegetables, stirring constantly until heated through.
