Ingredients For beef in irish beer

1 lbbeef sirloin, boneless cut into strips

salt and pepper to taste

1/2 tspthyme
-
1 tspparsley, minced

3carrots, sliced
-
4cloves minced fresh garlic
-
2onions, sliced
-
oil
-
1/2 cflour seasoned with salt and pepper

24 ozbeer, dark irish
How To Make beef in irish beer

1Over high heat, reduce sauce to half the original volume.

2Pour sauce over meat and serve.

3Dip beef in flour and coat on all sides.

4Brown in oil, in batches and remove to heat proof pot or casserole.

5Saute onions and garlic in same oil and add to beef.

6Add carrots, parsley and thyme.

7Season with salt and pepper.

8Pour enough beef broth to cover and bring to a boil.

9Reduce heat and simmer 30 minutes.

10Lift meat, onions and carrots from pot to serving plate with slotted spoon.
