This is an awesome shredded beef recipe that is simple to put together, and accents the flavors of the beef. It is a blank canvas for you to paint your culinary masterpiece. I’ve add sweet chili sauce, and put it on crusty bread. I’ve served it with a side of coleslaw and a few dinner rolls and made an excellent meal. It’s up to you. 3 lbchuck roast, boneless

1 cbeef stock, not broth

1 cbeer, i prefer foster’s

1 mdyellow onion, thinly sliced

2 Tbsptamari sauce

1 Tbspbeef seasoning, recommendation to follow

1PREP/PREPARE

2Gather your ingredients.

3Place a rack in the bottom position, and preheat the oven to 325f (160c).

4Place the sliced onions on the bottom of a heavy-bottomed pot, like a Dutch oven.

5Cut off any large chunks of fat from the roast.

6Place the roast on top of the onions.

7Mix the beef stock, beer, and tamari sauce together, and then pour over the roast.

8Sprinkle the top of the roast with the beef seasoning.

10Place the pot over medium heat, and then allow the roast and liquid to come up to a simmer.

11Place the pot, tightly covered, into the preheated oven, and bake until the roast is tender, about 3 – 3.5 hours.

12Chef’s Note: Halfway through the baking process, flip the roast over.

13Remove the roast and break apart.

14Return the roast to the pot, and cook for an additional 30 minutes.

16Serve on some nice crusty rolls, with some mustard, and maybe a pickle wedge, or plate up with a nice side of coleslaw, and a fresh dinner roll. Enjoy.
