Ingredients For beef brisket with barbeque sauce

3/4 cwater

1/2 cworcestershire sauce

2 Tbspvinegar

2 tspbeef bouillon granules

1 tspdry mustard
-
1 tspchili powder
-
1/2 tspred pepper, ground

2cloves minced fresh garlic
-
1 - 2 lbbeef brisket
-
1/2 cketchup
-
2 Tbspbrown sugar

2 Tbspbutter
How To Make beef brisket with barbeque sauce

1For cooking liquid: In a bowl combine water, worcestershire sauce, vinegar, bouillon, mustard, chili powder, red pepper and garlic; reserve 1/2 cup liquid for sauce.

2Trim fat from brisket.

3If necessary, cut brisket to fit slow cooker.

4Add liquid from bowl and brisket to slow cooker.

5Cover and cook on low-heat setting for 10-12 hours or high-heat setting for 5-6 hours.

6For sauce, in a small sauce pan combine 1/2 cup reserved liquid, ketchup, brown sugar and butter.

7Heat through.

8Serve sauce with meat.
