1 lbbeef tenderloin

2 Tbspcorn starch

2 Tbspsoy sauce

2 Tbspshiaoxing rice cooking wine

1 tspground black pepper

1red bell pepper

1green bell pepper

1 smonion
-
2 clovegarlic, minced
-
½ tspgrated ginger
-
1scallion. chopped

3 Tbsppeanut oil
- FOR SAUCE:

½ cbeef stock, unsalted

2 Tbspsoy sauce
-
2 Tbspoyster sauce
-
2 Tbsprice vinegar
-
1½ Tbsphoney
-
½ tspsesame oil

1¼ tspground black pepper

1 tspcorn starch
How To Make beef black pepper

1Cut the beef into size bite, place in a medium bowl and marinate with soy sauce, corn starch, cooking wine and black pepper. Set aside.

2Cut bell peppers and onion into bite size, set aside.

3Combine all sauce ingredients in a small bowl.

4Heat 2 Tbsp peanut oil in a large non-stick skillet over medium high heat. Cook and brown both side of the beef for 2 minute per side. Transfer the meat to plate lined with paper towel, set aside.

5In the same skillet, add the rest of peanut oil. Cook minced garlic and grated ginger for 1 minute until fragrant. Add onion, bell peppers and chopped scallion, cook and stir for another 1 minute. Add sauce into a skillet, stir until sauce bubble and thickened. Put the meat back to a skillet, cook and stir for another 1-2 minutes until sauce bubble. Turn the heat off.

6Serve immediately with rice.
