1 lbsirloin steak

1 1/2 Tbspcornstarch

1/2 cbeef broth

How To Make beef bavarian on rice

1Trim the fat from the steak; pound ot 1/2 inch thickness, using a meat mallet. Slice the steak diagonally across the grain into 2 x 1 inch strips.

2Combine 1 1/2 tablespoons cornstarch, salt, garlic powder, and pepper; stir well. Dredge the steak strips in cornstarch mixture.

3Cook the strips in the oil in a large skillet until browned. Add the onion, and cook 3 minutes. Stir in beer and the next 3 ingredients. Bring to a boil; cover, reduce heat, and simmer 15 minutes.

4Add carrot; cover and simmer 15 minutes or until the carrot is tender.

5Combine the water and 2 tablespoons cornstarch; gradually stir into the beef mixture. Cook, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens. Serve over rice.
