Ingredients For beef barbacoa

  • 4 lb
    beef roast
  • 1
    onion diced
  • 1 c
    beef broth
  • 3 Tbsp
    apple cider vinegar
  • juice of 1 lime
  • 3
    chipotle pepper in adobo diced
  • 5 clove
    garlic minced
  • 1 Tbsp
    cumin
  • 1 tsp
    mexican oregano
  • 3
    bay leaves
  • 1/4 tsp
    ground cloves
  • salt and pepper to taste

How To Make beef barbacoa

  • 1
    Place all ingredients in slow cooker. Cook on low for 10 hours. Remove bay leaves. Shred the beef taste and adjust for salt and pepper. Let sit back in juice for 30 minutes.

    Serve with tortillas and toppings of choice.
