Prepare this early, pop it in the oven and enjoy visiting with your guests or family while it cooks. Makes you look like a hostess with the mostest because you're relaxed and cool as a cucumber! 1/4 cplain flour

1/4 cdried bread crumbs

How To Make beef and wine casserole

1Combine beef, wine, consomme, salt, pepper,garlic, onions, mushrooms and carrots in greased casserole dish. Mix flour and bread crumbs thoroughly and stir into the meat mixture. Cook at 300 degrees (covered) for 3 hours. Serve over hot cooked white rice or egg noodles. ENJOY! The recipe serves 4 using 1 lb. of beef. Of course, you can always double this for more people or to have leftovers.
