Ingredients For beef and bok choy all gingered up

  • 1/3 c
    water
  • 1 Tbsp
    cornstarch
  • 2 Tbsp
    sherry
  • 1 Tbsp
    low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tsp
    beef bouillon powder
  • 1 Tbsp
    grated gingerroot
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    granulated sugar
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1 Tbsp
    cooking oil
  • 3/4 lb
    sirloin steak, sliced into 1/8 inch thin strips
  • 4 c
    (packed) bok choy, chopped

How To Make beef and bok choy all gingered up

    In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and water to form a slurry.

    Add sherry through salt and; mix and set aside.

    Heat wok or skillet on medium high heat. Add cooking oil until shimmering. Add beef strips until almost cooked through. Stir in cornstarch mixture and heat until boiling and thickened.

    Add the bok choy and stir until just starting to wilt. Serve immediately.
