What can I say! Comfort food. On a dreary rainy day. Make this pot roast with garlic mash potatoes. A warm hug and good conversation. A good recipe for togetherness. prov15: v17. A meal of vegetables where there is love is better than the finest meat where there is hatred.

Ingredients For beaumont pot roast

  • 3 lb
    chuck roast
  • 6 clove
    garlic
  • 1 pkg
    mushroom caps
  • 1 lg
    onion
  • 1 pkg
    carrots
  • !/4 sprig
    parsley chopped
  • 1/2 c
    burgundy wine
  • 1 can
    beefy mushroom soup
  • !/2 c
    worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tsp
    thyme, leaves
  • 2 tsp
    salt and pepper

How To Make beaumont pot roast

  • 1
    Sprinkle roast with salt & pepper. Brown roast on a saute pan turning on all sides till dark golden brown about 3 minutes per side.

    Remove from saute pan and place in dutch or crock pot, add onions, garlic, mushrooms, wine, Worcestershire sauce, mushroom soup, thyme and 1 teaspoon of parsley.

    Bring to boil, lower & simmer for seven hours adding carrots 3 hours before serving. Sprinkle with the rest of the parsley. season to your taste, enjoy. Serve with garlic mashed potatoes and preferred green vegetable.
