Was still going through Mom's recipe box and came across this one. I remember it from the 60's or maybe early 70's. Mom's sister had written it on a card and given it to her.

Ingredients For ann lander's meat loaf

  • 2 lb
    ground round steak
  • 2
    eggs, beaten
  • 1 1/2 c
    plain bread crumbs
  • 3/4 c
    ketchup
  • 1 tsp
    accent
  • 1/2 c
    warm water
  • 1 pkg
    dry onion soup mix
  • 2
    strips bacon
  • 1
    8 oz. can tomato sauce

How To Make ann lander's meat loaf

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

    Thoroughly mix all ingredients (except bacon and tomato sauce) and place in a loaf pan.

    Cover with bacon strips to flavor if you like.

    Pour tomato sauce over all.

    Bake for 1 hour.
