Ingredients For altmodischer deutscher gulasch

2 lbstew beef

2 lgonions, sliced

4 Tbspolive oil

1 Tbspmixed dried herbs (thyme, rosemary, marjoram)

2 tsppaprika

2 lgcarrots, diced
-
4 mdpotatoes, peeled and diced

1 canpeeled tomatoes
-
1 tspgarlic powder
-
1/2 bottledry red wine
-
salt and pepper to taste
How To Make altmodischer deutscher gulasch

1Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add beef and cook until brown.

2Add the onion and cook until transparent.

3Add carrots, potatoes, herbs and paprika and stir for a few minutes until thoroughly combined.

4Add red wine, tomatoes and the spices, including salt and pepper, and simmer, covered, for 2 to 3 hours. Add water if necessary.

5Serve with dumplings, noodles or rice.
