Ingredients For 5-hour beef stew

  • 3 lb
    stew beef, cubed
  • 1/2 tsp
    rosemary
  • 1 c
    chopped celery
  • 1/4 tsp
    marjoram
  • 3
    medium onions, coarsely chopped
  • 1/4 tsp
    thyme
  • 3
    medium potatoes, cubed
  • 1 tsp
    pepper
  • 6
    carrots, sliced
  • 1 Tbsp
    salt
  • 1 pkg
    frozen peas
  • 1 Tbsp
    sugar
  • 1 can
    tomatoes with green chiles, large
  • 2 oz
    red wine
  • 3 Tbsp
    instant tapioca

How To Make 5-hour beef stew

  • 1
    Cut beef into cubes and place in deep casserole. Pour red wine over meat.

    Cube vegetables and place on top of meat.

    Add seasonings and bake for 5 hours at 300.
