Ingredients For 24 hour pot roast

  • 2-3 lb
    rump roast or your favorite cut ~ frozen
  • 1
    envelope dry onion soup mix
  • 1 can
    golden mushroom condensed soup
  • water

How To Make 24 hour pot roast

    The evening before serving, place frozen roast in crockpot, sprayed with PAM or use one of those great crockpot liners that are out for no cleanup. Mix onion soup mix, mushroom soup and water to your portion. Mix, pour over roast. Cover. Refrigerate overnight. Start cooking on low before you leave for work. If you want potatoes and carrots and have some time when you get home, turn crockpot on high, then give the veggies a head start in the microwave til just barely tender and then place in crockpot to finish cooking.
